We acknowledge that you may have frequent contact from your child's previous school and these might not have always been positive.
What does communication at NWSSSS look like?
You are likely to receive positive SMS texts daily from tutors and/or staff - we like to focus on the positive!
You may receive telephone calls after the end of the school day...remember we like to focus on the positive however, if we need to discuss something that has happened during the school day, we are there to work alongside you.
Every Friday you will be sent a snapshot of your child's progress against their targets for that week.
You will receive a formal report every term.
At the beginning of each term, we hold a parent review day - this is an opportunity for you to celebrate all the great progress that your child has made, speak with their tutor and teachers and agree their targets for the next term to be included on their Student Support Plan (SSP).
We welcome open communication and want to work with you to support your child throughout their time with us.
